GUITAR - JURY MEMBERS

Dr. Andrea Bozóki

Dr. Bozóki Andrea was born in 1964 in Szeged, where she began her music education, which she continued in Budapest. She obtained her diploma from the “Franz Liszt” Academy. In 1991, she was a visiting professor at Eastern Oregon State College in the USA. From 1992 to 1996, she studied in Salzburg at the “Mozarteum” Academy under Matthias Saidel, where she was awarded an artistic diploma and the title of Magistra Artium in 1996. Since 1989, she has been working in primary, secondary, and higher education. She currently works at the Music Academy in Szeged as an assistant. Since 2004, she has also been working at the “István Vántus” Secondary Music School. She performs concerts and holds masterclasses in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, the USA, Austria, and Denmark. In 2012, she obtained her doctorate from the “Franz Liszt” Academy. Her students achieve outstanding results in numerous national and international competitions.

Erika Czakó

Czakó Erika is a guitar professor and chamber musician, ensemble leader, head of the professional faculty of the Music Department at the Art Vocational Secondary School in Nyíregyháza, lecturer at the Liszt Ferenc University of Music in Budapest, as well as teacher and head of department at the Vikár Sándor Primary Music School in Nyíregyháza. She is the recipient of the Vietórisz József Award. She regularly gives masterclasses throughout the country and is frequently invited to serve on juries of national and international competitions. She also organizes meetings, festivals, and competitions for young guitarists. She is the founder of the Eastern Hungarian Guitar Competition and the National Youth Guitar Competition – GIVE. In recent years, her students have given nearly 300 concerts throughout the county and nationwide. They have performed at Müpa Budapest, the Sziget Festival, the Liszt Academy of Music, the Nádor Hall, the Pesti Vigadó, the Marble Hall of Hungarian Radio (broadcast by Bartók Radio), in various television programs, as well as at international festivals.

Stevan Jović

Stevan Jović was born in 1986 in Šabac, where he completed his primary and secondary education at the “Mihailo Vukdragović” Music School, studying under Prof. Marko Erdevički and Prof. Nenad Kondić. He graduated in guitar from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, under the guidance of Prof. Zoran Krajišnik. He is a recipient of the “Little Prince” award for the student of the year from the Department of Music Arts. He completed his master’s and specialist studies at the “Jacobs School of Music” in America, under Maestro Ernesto Bitetti. He has won awards at national and international guitar competitions, including first prizes in Serbia, Bosnia, Slovenia, France, and America. He is the author of the composition collections “Maestri,” aimed at students of primary and secondary music schools. He performs as a soloist and chamber musician. He works as a guitar teacher at the “Isidor Bajić” Music School in Novi Sad.
