REGULATIONS
Article 1

The founder of the competition is the Bačka Topola Music School, and the organizer is the association “Odeon”.

Article 2

The right to participate in the competition is granted to regular students of primary and secondary music schools in the following departments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, and percussion, as well as university students in the guitar department.

Article 3

The competition is public and the program is performed from memory, except for chamber ensembles and wind instruments, where the program may also be performed from sheet music. Competitors in the percussion category perform the program from sheet music on rhythmic instruments, and from memory on the melodic instrument.

Article 4

The competition is evaluated by a jury composed of eminent professors from music schools in our country and abroad.

Article 5

The jury’s decision is final and irrevocable.

Article 6

The jury ranks competitors as follows:

1st Prize: 90–100 points

2nd Prize: 80–89.99 points

3rd Prize: 70–79.99 points

Commendation: 60–69.99 points

Competitors who score 95 points or more receive a GOLD MEDAL.

A diploma and the title of Laureate in each discipline is awarded by the jury to one competitor from the primary music school level, secondary music school level, and music academy level, who has achieved the maximum 100 points.

Teachers and accompanists receive a certificate of appreciation for their pedagogical work and contribution to the competition.

The youngest competitor at the entire event will receive a special award.

Competitors who perform their own composition (an original work), or a composition by their teacher, will receive a certificate of appreciation for their artistic contribution to the event “Days of Music”.

Article 7

After each category, students and their teachers will have the opportunity to consult with the jury members during the announcement of results.

Article 8

The participation fee includes a video recording of the competitor’s performance. After the event, each competitor receives a recording of their performance in electronic format.

Article 9

THE APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION IS SUBMITTED EXCLUSIVELY VIA A GOOGLE FORMS QUESTIONNAIRE. The questionnaire will be published on the competition website at a later date.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents with their application:

A school certificate confirming the grade the applicant is attending

A birth certificate extract (for foreign competitors: a scanned passport)

Proof of payment of the participation fee

Competitors from Serbia pay the fee to the RSD current account 200-3747240101912-73, with reference number 189. Recipient: Association Odeon, 24300 Bačka Topola. In the payment purpose field, enter: Participation Fee for Days of Music for (competitor’s full name).

Competitors from abroad pay the fee to the following foreign currency account:

SWIFT: SBPORSBG, 11000 Belgrade, Banka Poštanska Štedionica a.d.

The fee for soloists is 4,000 RSD (€35), for piano four-hands and six-hands 4,500 RSD (€40), and for chamber ensembles and orchestras 6,000 RSD (€55).
Transaction costs are borne by the Ordering Party (OUR).
